Safety Instructions

Read these important safety instructions carefully and keep them. It is highly recommended that the placement and use of electrical equipment is carried out by a qualified electrician. Basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following: a solid grounding wire is connected to the outside of the control box, for a solid connection between the spa and other metal equipment, metal enclosures of electrical equipment, metal water pipe or tube within 1.5 meters from the spa, as required by local ordinances. The Spa has a green colored earth plug (or wire connector marked G, GR, Ground or Grounding). To reduce the risk of electric shock, you should stop this kind in the meter box to connect to a fully insulated copper wire (which is equal to the wire that comes with this spa). The electricity group should be provided with a circuit breaker that meets the regulations of the local power company. You must ensure that the provision for closing the electricity is easily accessible to the spa user, however, at least 1.5 meters from the water installation. Test the operation of the RCD as prescribed by the manufacturer. If the switch is not working properly, soil may result in electric shock. Connect the power until it is clear where the error in the system is located and repaired.
• Risk - risk of electric shock. Install at least 1.5 meters from all metal surfaces.
• Risk - risk of electric shock. Keep electrical appliances such as lights, telephones, radio and / or television at least 1.5 meters away from the Spa.
• Risk - the risk of drowning of children. To avoid accidents, the spa should always be supervised!
• Danger. To reduce the risk of injury, do not remove the inlet grilles.
During the installation adequate drainage around the electrical equipment must be ensured to prevent short circuits. Store all chemicals in a cool dry place and out of reach of children.

Prevent accidents:

1. The warmth of the spa can cause overheating and unconsciousness. The water temperature should never exceed 40 ° C. Temperatures between 38-40 ° C can be considered safe for a healthy adult. Lower water temperatures are recommended if the spa is used longer than 10-15 minutes and for use by children.
2. Excessive water temperatures may increase the risk of damage to unborn children in the first months of pregnancy. For pregnant or possibly pregnant women, the temperature of the water should not be not above 38 ° C.
• The use of alcohol, drugs or medication before or during spa use may lead to unconsciousness with the possibility of drowning.
• People who suffer from the following disorders: obesity, heart failure, low or high blood pressure, circulation problems or diabetes should consult their physician before using the spa.
• Persons using medication should consult their doctor before using a spa, since some types of medication can induce drowsiness while other medication may have an adverse effect on heart rate, blood pressure and blood circulation.

Instructions for installation

Before your spa is delivered, you need to arrange a room where it can be installed. We have a number unforeseen situations that can occur:
• Install the spa not too close to a building or structure;
• Leave enough room around easily accessible service panels;
• Install the spa on a surface that is level and suitable for heavy loads;
• Use non-conductive pipes for wiring, we recommend a concrete substrate with a thickness of + / - 10 cm if the spa on the ground ( Unlike a boat deck or balcony) is placed.
The surface of the substrate should be on all sides at least 8 cm larger than the spa (such as the Spa 2 x 2 meters, the surface around its minimum of 2.16 meter). The concrete should dry a few days before you install the spa. Balconies and upper decks of boats are not suitable for the installation of a spa. If you are still considering to place a spa, you should realize that a large, fully loaded spa, with 6 people, can weigh 3 tons. Balconies and boat decks should therefore be designed that it is suitable for a minimum weight of 3000 kg.
If you consider the Spa to work with an additional outer timber, then you should ensure that the service panels are NOT covered. If steps are installed, you will need to place them in a way that access to the service panel is not obstructed. Of course it is important to install the spa in a way providing that the supplier of the spa can move his truck to the desired location without difficulties. The supplier uses a wheeled frame, where the spa is placed on its side. Check the route to the location on accessibility and remove, if necessary, fence panels and (small) trees or shrubs. If you are not aware of the outside dimensions of your spa, you can retrieve them from your dealer.

Power requiremenst for your spa

In all cases, a separate power group be set up and the cable should run directly from the meter to the place where the spa will be placed (plus an extra 5 meters to the cable to one of the sides inside them). It is recommended that at a distance of 2 meters from the spa a waterproof switch is placed in order to cut the power at any time. In all cases, the steam supply provided with a neutral and earth, in some counties (mainly in Belgium) does not meet these requirements the grid. Inform at your power company or Spa Service Europe (phone 0031 (0) 654637931 if your power meets the requirements

Installation

Filling the spa with water

Make sure the shell of your spa is clean and no debris on the soil and that your fill tube is properly purged before it in the fitercompartiment place, fill the spa alijd through filtercopartiment, check the filter compartment Fri and nowhere is blocked by the Spa before you go filling. Make sure the drain valve (on the side of the Spa) is completely closed.
After you have filled the Spa, test the hardness of the water. Water from sources is generally faster than water obtained from the water companies. Variations in mineral and metal concentrations can damage the equipment in your spa. Contact your dealer for proper water analysis.
The purchase of a water quality test kit is highly recommended by us, especially to determine the pH and the hygienic conditions of the water. Test the water daily until the correct values are obtained. Important! Turn the power rather than the spa is completely filled. Important! Inadequate balanced water can damage your spa and void your warranty.

Operation

The spa launch
If the spa is started for the first time, it goes (after configuration information) in the priming mode This will be shown in the display. The Priming mode takes 4 minutes and then the spa will automatically start up in standard mode and there will be a number of segments in the display. At the time that the lines appear, the spa is busy with a series of tests, if tests are positive then the dashes disappear and the current temperature is displayed. The spa water is then heated until the set temperature is reached.
